The ancestors of kakhetian man, twins
Gia and Gela Gamtkitsulashvili, returned to
their base, restored the ancestral wine
cellar in Kakheti , village Naphareili, the
place where river Lopota joins river
Alazani.They cultivated Georgian vine and
revived forgotten tradition of making “Bio
wine” in clay vessels. |

The hotel “Old Cellar” with
conference hall is situated hereby, in the
area of an old wine cellar .
The best Kakhetian white and red wines are made in this wine cellar.
The “Old Cellar” offers wine tour: traditional kakhetian feast with a
toast-maker called “Tamada”. You can taste
“Bio wine” from the pitcher at the moment of
opening it and enjoy your time in the
company of folk- song singers near the
fireplace.
